Eyemouth lifeboat has been called out to tow a yacht to safety after its steering gear failed 20 miles off the Scottish Borders coast.

The launch took place at 17:20 on Sunday to assist the 40ft vessel Prologue, which had four crew on board, en route from Inverness to Lowestoft.

It took under an hour for the lifeboat to reach the yacht.

One crew member was badly dehydrated and was treated by paramedics on their return to Eyemouth.
