Two men have been charged with drug offences after what police described as a "large operation" in the Duns area of the Scottish Borders.

Five properties were raided by police from across the region - including four local community officers.

A 22-year-old was charged with possession and intent to supply cannabis while a 24-year-old faces a cannabis possession charge.

Police said the men would be reported to the procurator fiscal.

The raids were carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Gatekeeper to tackle drugs in the Borders.

Police thanked the public for their support and the "community intelligence" they have been providing.
