Girl injured in Earlston rope swing fall

A teenage girl has been injured after falling from a rope swing in the Scottish Borders.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called out to assist ambulance personnel at the incident on Mill Road in Earlston at about 19:30 on Wednesday.

The 14-year-old girl had fallen about 12ft (3.6m) to the ground.

The teenager suffered neck and back injuries in the fall.
