Thieves strike in Scotland's highest village Wanlockhead

Police have launched an investigation into a "very rare" theft in Scotland's highest village in Dumfries and Galloway.

The incident happened some time between 19 May and 24 June at a house on Stewart Place in Wanlockhead.

A television, toolbox, camera and a quantity of army clothing were taken during the incident.

PC Ryan Dougan appealed for any information to help to catch those responsible for the theft.
