A suspected unexploded wartime bomb which saw a south of Scotland rubbish dump sealed off has been found not to be explosive.

Army disposal experts were called out on Monday afternoon to the Corsehill site near Annan.

The facility was sealed off and the nearby B722 road closed as a precaution following the discovery.

The all clear was given after the item was examined and discovered not to be an explosive.
