Lifeboat teams rescue three divers off coast of Eyemouth

Three divers were rescued after they were spotted clinging to a marker buoy off the coast of Eyemouth.

They were trying to swim to shore when they got into difficulty on Sunday afternoon as they struggled against the strong tide.

Two lifeboats were launched from Eyemouth shortly after 17:35.

The divers were taken on board the inshore lifeboat before being transferred to a second vessel and taken ashore.
