Rally champion David Bogie fined for speeding

Former British and Scottish rally champion David Bogie has been fined after he admitted a speeding charge.

Bogie, of Dumfries, did not appear personally at the town's JP Court over the offence.

He was fined £200 and also had his driving licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Bogie admitted driving at 53mph in the 30mph limit a short distance from his home in May.
