Lorry driver in hospital after Dumfries bypass crash

A lorry driver is in hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the A75 Dumfries bypass.

The road was shut for about three hours after the accident involving two lorries and a car at Cuckoo Bridge at about 08:00.

Police said a 37-year-old man was taken to hospital as a result of the crash. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Traffic in the area was diverted via the town centre for a time.
