Thieves steal 25 lambs from Clackmannanshire field

Twenty-five lambs, aged six-months, have been stolen from a field in Clackmannanshire.

Central Scotland Police said the animals, which were Scottish Mules, were taken from a field on the A91, near Tillicoultry Golf Club.

The theft, which happened sometime between 20 August and 5 September, was discovered by a shepherd.

Police said they believed a vehicle would have been used to move the lambs, described as white with brown faces.
