Police name body found in River Tay

Police have identified the body of a man pulled from the River Tay in Dundee on Sunday.

He has been named as 43-year-old Gordon Lobban from Loaning Crescent in Edinburgh. His next of kin have been notified.

Mr Lobban's body was discovered at about 1045 BST between the Tay Road Bridge and the Tay Rail Bridge.

A spokeswoman for Tayside Police said they were not treating his death as suspicious.
