Police in Perth seize £250,000 of cannabis

Police have seized cannabis with an estimated street value of £250,000 in Perth.

The haul was recovered from a car in the town's Dunkeld Road area at 1700 GMT on Sunday.

Tayside Police said a 41-year-old man from the Cardiff area and another man, aged 29, had been arrested after an "intelligence-led" operation.

Both men have appeared at Perth Sheriff Court charged in connection with the incident.
