Tools stolen from empty Dundee pub

Almost £3,000 worth of tools and decorating equipment have been stolen from workmen renovating an empty pub in Dundee.

Thieves broke into Bayview Bar in Earn Crescent between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning, police said.

They took cordless drills, nail guns, a circular saw and various hand tools. A black Nike rucksack containing personal items and photographs was also stolen.

Tayside have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
