Woman seen smashing up parked car in Dundee

A young woman smashed up a car in an apparently "motiveless" attack, police in Dundee have said.

The Fiat Punto, parked in Denhead Crescent, was badly vandalised at about 2215 BST on Sunday.

Three of the car's side windows and the windscreen were smashed and a tyre was also punctured.

A woman aged between 16 and 25 was seen by the car and then running towards Dunholm Road after the attack. Police have asked witnesses to contact them.

Tayside Police described the suspect as slim, with curly blonde hair tied back in a ponytail. She was wearing a black and yellow top, black trousers and white trainers.

The car was parked in bays close to the Myrekirk Terrace junction.
