Tayside Police seize drugs worth £50,000 from vehicle

Drugs with a street value of £50,000 have been seized by police from a vehicle in Tayside.

Police recovered heroin, cocaine and cannabis after the vehicle was stopped in Forthill Road, Broughty Ferry, at about 1930 BST on Friday.

Tayside officers also searched a house in the vicinity.

Two men, aged 53 and 54, who are both from Dundee, were arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are continuing.

Both men will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
