Man dies after lorry and vans crash near Blairgowrie
A van driver has died after he was involved in a crash with another van and an articulated lorry on the A93 in Perth and Kinross.
The man was trapped in his white panel van after the collision on the A93 Spittal of Glenshee, Blairgowrie.
Tayside Police said the incident, five miles south of Spittal, happened at about 1255 BST.
The 24-year-old, from the Blairgowrie area, was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he later died.
His next of kin have been informed but his name has not yet been released.
No-one else was injured. The road is currently closed in both directions.
A police spokesman said: "Crash investigators are attending at the scene and will be undertaking meticulous inquiries into the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident."
He appealed to crash witnesses to contact police.
