Fatal accident van driver named as Scott McIntosh

A man who died after a three-vehicle crash on a rural road has been named by police.

Scott McIntosh, 26, was driving a van on the A93 Spittal of Glenshee road near Blairgowrie, Perthshire, when it collided with a lorry and another van.

The crash happened just before 1300 BST on Wednesday.

Mr McIntosh, from Blairgowrie, was airlifted to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital, where he later died. No-one else was injured.

The road was closed and diversions were put in place while crash investigators examined the scene.

Tayside Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
