Stirling police discover £40,000 cocaine stash in raid

Police officers raiding a house in Stirling have seized class A drugs with a street value of £40,000.

A kilogram of cocaine was recovered during the search of the house in Springfield Road, a spokeswoman for Central Scotland Police said.

Officers from the drugs and organised crime unit raided the home after receiving a tip-off.

A 44-year-old woman is expected to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court on Thursday in connection with the find.
