Appeal after woman indecently assaulted on Dundee bus

A woman has been indecently assaulted on a bus in Dundee.

It happened on the number five Travel Dundee service between Nethergate and Ninewells Hospital, between 22:15 and 22:45 on Friday.

Police said the woman was assaulted by a man of Asian appearance. When she got off the bus he followed her and continued the assault as she walked towards Ninewells Avenue.

Anyone with any information has been urged to come forward.

The woman was wearing a pink top, blue jeans and carrying a denim jacket.

The man who assaulted her was described as 6ft tall with short dark hair and thin black framed glasses. He was wearing a blue jumper, blue jeans and black sand type shoes. He did not speak with a local accent.

Police said when the suspect got on to the bus at the town centre, he was accompanied by a white male who got off near to Harris Academy.
