Jane Kelly death: Man to stand trial
A 22-year-old man accused of murdering a Dundee arts student by strangling her has been fully committed for trial.
Mark Jarvie, from Powmill in Perth and Kinross, did not appear in court for the brief private hearing.
He is alleged to have murdered Jane Kelly, 22, by compressing her throat at his family's home in Powmill on 28 October.
Mr Jarvie's solicitor, David Holmes, continued to make no plea or declaration on his client's behalf.
Miss Kelly, from St Andrews in Fife, was found fatally injured by paramedics. She was a student at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee.
