Man hit by car in Stirling seriously injured
A 74-year-old man is in hospital fighting for his life after being hit by a car in Stirling.
The man was knocked down outside the 1314 Inn in Whins of Milton at about 22:00 on Wednesday.
Police said he was being treated at the Forth Valley Royal Hospital for serious injuries. His condition is thought to be life threatening.
He was hit by a silver Renault car travelling south on the A872. The driver was uninjured.
Officers from Central Scotland Police closed the road for an hour after the incident to investigate.
The force has appealed to witnesses to contact them.
