Missing five-year-old boy in Dundee found safe and well

A five-year-old boy who went missing from outside a shopping centre has been located.

Kieran Matthew was last seen at 15:25 outside the Wellgate Shopping Centre in Dundee.

It is understood he was with his mother in the city centre when he ran up the Wellgate Steps heading to Victoria Road and was lost to view.

A spokesman for Tayside Police said the young boy had since been found safe and well.
