Three-tonne theft from Kinneil Kerse water works
Three pieces of machinery weighing a tonne each and worth hundreds of thousands of pounds have been stolen from a yard in Bo'ness.
The stainless steel machines were taken from the Kinneil Kerse water treatment plant, Grangemouth Road, on Thursday.
Police said they were each about 4.5m (15ft) long and had probably been taken for their scrap value.
The two strain presses and wash pactor were being kept at the yard to be used for spares and repair.
Officers said the machines were difficult to move and store and appealed for information about the theft.
Anyone who has been offered heavy machinery as scrap recently is asked to contact Central Scotland Police.
