Prisoner Steven Robertson absconds from Castle Huntly
Police have appealed for help to trace a prisoner who absconded from an open jail near Dundee.
Steven Robertson failed to return to Castle Huntly on Thursday after being granted a week of leave over Christmas.
The 47-year-old, from the Methil area of Fife, was sentenced to more than five years in prison at the High Court in Kirkcaldy in February 2010 after being convicted of drugs offences.
He transferred from HMP Edinburgh to Castle Huntly in October this year.
He is described as being 5ft 6ins tall, stocky, with a shaven or bald head and green/brown eyes.
Tayside Police said anyone who has seen him or has information as to where he is now, should contact them.
