Tayside Police confirm second Tibbermore crash fatality

A woman who was seriously injured in a fatal car crash at Tibbermore in Perthshire has died in hospital, police have confirmed.

Elizabeth Southwood, 83, from Perth, was a passenger in a blue Mazda involved in a two car collision between Perth and Madderty on 28 September.

Tayside police said she died at Dundee's Ninewell's Hospital on Monday.

Another passenger in the car, 78-year-old Rhoda Lawton, from Perth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tayside Police said an 82-year-old woman, who was also a passenger in the same car, remains in Ninewells Hospital in a stable condition.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
