Ryan Simpson from Forfar dies after A90 crash

A teenager has died in hospital following a car crash on the main A90 Dundee to Aberdeen road.

Ryan Simpson from Forfar was seriously injured after a collision involving a Vauxhall Corsa and an Audi Quattro at the Bogindollo junction near Forfar at about 19:30 on Monday.

The 18-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but later died from his injuries.

His family have said he will be greatly missed.

Tayside Police said their inquiries into the incident were still ongoing.
