Perth man cleared of causing 'fear and alarm' with tomato sauce
A 29-year-old man from Perth has been cleared of causing fear and alarm by spraying tomato sauce around a kitchen.
Jamie Green had denied committing the offence at Strathtay Road, Perth, on 20 August last year.
He had also pled not guilty to two charges of assaulting a woman and one charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner the previous day.
The case collapsed at Perth Sheriff Court when none of the Crown witnesses turned up to give evidence.
Mr Green had been alleged to have "shouted and sworn, sprayed tomato sauce over the kitchen worktops and walls, knocked over and broken ornaments, and thrown a bucket of water and bleach over worktops and a freezer".
All the charges against him were dropped after the witnesses failed to turn up.
