Police in Dundee arrest four in connection with £100,000 drug find

Police have seized drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 following raids at two properties in Dundee.

Officers uncovered a quantity of heroin and cannabis resin at addresses in the Douglas and Charleston areas on Monday.

Following the raids, three men, aged 36, 35 and 17, and a 26-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the find.

All four are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

The operation was carried out by Police Scotland's new Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit.

Det Ch Insp Colin Gall said: ''This is the result of Police Scotland's continued focus on disrupting the supply of drugs.

"We will continue to target those individuals and no one should doubt our determination to disrupt their illicit trade.''
