Car appeal over fatal crash on M90 motorway near Perth

Police are trying to trace the route of a black Ford Fiesta involved in a fatal crash on the M90 on the outskirts of Perth.

Jamie Scott, who was 19 and from Perth, died and two other people were injured when the car they were in left the carriageway at about 22:45 on Monday.

The Fiesta came to rest on an embankment. No other vehicle is thought to have been involved.

The injured man and woman were taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital.

Their injuries have been described as "serious".

Police said they would like to speak to "anyone who can provide information about the route or activity of a black Ford Fiesta motor car prior to the collision".
