Woman charged over Dundee Rottweiler attack on girl, 8

A 22-year-old woman has been charged over a dog attack on an eight-year-old girl in Dundee.

The child required hospital treatment after being bitten by a Rottweiler on the thigh in the city's Dawson Park on Saturday.

Police in Tayside said a dog was seized from an address in the Douglas area of Dundee on Tuesday.

The animal is currently in the possession of dog wardens. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
