An 89-year-old man who was hit by a car in Angus in August has died of his injuries in hospital.
Kenneth Robertson was hit by a Vauxhall Vectra on the B9113 Kinnell to Forfar road on 30 August.
Police in Tayside said he died in the early hours of Sunday at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where he had been receiving treatment since the incident.
A 33-year-old man appeared at Arbroath Sheriff Court earlier this month in connection with the crash.
Paul Mowatt faced a number of charges, including dangerous driving, failing to stop and failing to report an accident.
He made no plea or declaration and was granted bail.
