Sniffer dog finds drugs in Perth chimney
A police dog sniffed out cocaine and heroin hidden in the chimney of a Perth house, a court has heard.
Neil McMillan, 48, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin on 7 November.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard how police smashed their way into his home in Main Street and called in a sniffer dog after a wrap of cocaine was found.
The car wash operator was remanded in custody while reports are prepared and will be sentenced next month.
The drugs seized had a street value of about £77,500.
Advocate depute Andrew Brown QC, prosecuting, told the court that text messages on the four mobile phones lying on McMillan's floor suggested he was a dealer, not just someone providing a safe house.
