A lorry driver has been charged with drink-driving after his vehicle overturned on the A90 in Dundee.
There were severe delays on the dual carriageway after the lorry's trailer, which was loaded with peat, toppled over just after 17:00 on Thursday.
Police confirmed that a 40-year-old man was arrested and charged, and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Tailbacks stretched several miles from the Myrekirk roundabout, which was not fully cleared for 12 hours.
