'Serious' two-car road crash closes the A94 in Scone

A 74-year-old man was taken to hospital after a "serious" head-on crash which closed the main road through a Perthshire village.

The two-car collision occurred at about 09:30 on the A94 in Scone.

The man was taken to hospital in Dundee by ambulance following the crash, and police closed the road between Victoria Road and Bonhard Road for over an hour.

There were no other serious injuries reported, and the road re-opened just before 11:00.
