Police are revisiting the scene of a crash which killed a family of four as the investigation into it continues.

A West Lothian couple and their two young children died when their black Fiat car collided head-on with a lorry on the A801 near Polmont.

Officers are returning to the scene exactly a week on from the crash to try to find witnesses.

They are particularly keen to trace the driver of a silver car seen in the area at the time.

The crash happened at about 14:20 on Wednesday, 23 July, near the Lathallan roundabout where the A801 joins with the M9.

Graham Lockhart, 23, and Shauna Robb, 20, from Bathgate, were killed along with their son Tyler, two, and 11-month-old daughter Arianna.

Emergency services cordoned off the scene, with fire crews from Falkirk, Bo'ness and Larbert joining police and paramedics.

The lorry driver was not injured.

Sgt Andrew Thomson said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash last Wednesday to come forward as they may have information which could help us piece together the circumstances before this tragic collision."
