Prisoner Stewart Rattray absconds from Castle Huntly

A 34-year-old prisoner is being hunted by police after he absconded from Castle Huntly open prison in Perthshire.

Stewart Rattray was on a period of unescorted leave and is believed to be in the Inverness area.

He is 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

Police Scotland say Rattray has friends and family in the Inverness area and are appealing for help to trace him.
