Two lorries and a van were involved in a crash on the A9 at Dunkeld.

Large tailbacks built up after both carriageways of the road were blocked by the collision near Dunkeld Railway Station.

One lorry driver had to be cut free from his vehicle following the crash at about 08:00.

The 65-year-old driver of the van was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, although his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Diversions were routed through Dunkeld and Birnam until the road was re-opened at about 11:30.
