A number of flood warnings remain in place for Tayside.

On Friday evening, police warned residents in Angus that they may be affected by rising river levels.

Householders were advised to move belongings and themselves upstairs or to stay with friends or relatives.

Properties in the Tannadice and Finavon areas, and the River Street area of Brechin were thought to be at risk while a rest centre was opened at Brechin High School.
