Denny woman assaulted in late-night row over fireworks
Police are investigating after a woman was injured in an "unprovoked" late night row over fireworks in Denny.
The 26-year-old was walking on Stirling Street in the company of a 34-year-old man at about 03:00 on 9 November.
The pair were involved in an altercation with a group of six people over fireworks being let off near Milton Row.
During the argument a man in the group assaulted the woman, causing bruising to her face.
The suspect, who was part of a group of three men and three women, all in their late teens to early 20s, was described as being between 5ft 8in and 6ft tall, of medium build, with short, dark hair.
He was wearing a black hooded top with a white logo.
PC Alana MacPherson appealed for information relating to the "unprovoked assault".
