Police warning after Dundee taxis targeted by thieves
Police have issued a warning to Dundee taxi drivers after a spate of break-ins to cabs across the city.
Cash was stolen from a taxi at Fintry Drive just after midnight on Sunday after thieves forced entry.
Similar crimes have recently been reported at Findchapel Place, also in Fintry, and Alloway Place in Linlathen.
Officers appealed for information and warned city drivers to be on their guard.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman advised that all valuable property should be removed from unattended vehicles, or at least secured out of sight in the boot.
