Dundee taxi driver crushed by his own car dies

A 74-year-old man has died after being crushed by his own car in Dundee.

Anthony Carlin was pinned against a wall outside his Kirkton Avenue home by his Skoda Octavia on Wednesday evening.

The fire service and ambulance crews freed the taxi driver, but he died at Ninewells Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Police confirmed they are investigating the circumstances of the incident, but said there were no suspicious circumstances.
