Police name Dundee woman, 89, killed in crash with car

A pensioner who died after being hit by a car in Dundee has been named by police as Catherine Gourlay.

The 89-year-old from Dundee was hit by a black Volkswagen Tiguan car on Blackness Road, near the junction with Ashbank Street, on Sunday morning.

Officers are investigating the full circumstances of the incident, and have appealed for witnesses.

As is the case with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the prosecutor fiscal.
