A police helicopter has been searching for an American holidaymaker who has gone missing from a resort in Perthshire.

Police have said they are increasingly concerned about sixty-one-year-old Susan McLean.

Ms McLean was reported missing on Sunday.

She was last seen on CCTV walking outside the grounds of Moness Resort in Aberfeldy at about 19:45.

The helicopter, along with officers from Police Scotland, Tayside Mountain Rescue teams and search dogs, have searched for Ms McLean in the area of Aberfeldy Golf Club, Aberfeldy Community Hospital and Birks O'Aberfeldy.

Officers have also carried out house-to-house inquiries and are seeking more CCTV footage of Ms McLean, who is from Pennsylvania.

Ms McLean has been described as being 5ft 8in (1.7m) tall, of medium build, with short fair hair and green eyes.

She was wearing a black and grey coloured waterproof jacket, beige khaki trousers and white trainers at the time and she speaks with an American accent.
