Woman stole large sum of dropped cash in Perth
Police have appealed for information after a woman stole a large sum of cash that had been dropped by a householder outside her home.
The woman was seen on CCTV picking the bundle of notes off the ground in Murray Terrace, Perth, at about 15:10 on Friday.
She is seen flicking through the cash before walking towards the city centre.
Maxine Stronach, who dropped the money, said it was a substantial amount which was going to be used to buy a caravan.
She has appealed for information on her Facebook page and published CCTV images taken from a camera outside her property.
In the post, Mrs Stronach said: "The police are also looking for her, any information on who she is please PM me or contact the police.
"We are willing to provide a reward."
A spokesman for Police Scotland said they were following a positive line of inquiry.
The woman was described as wearing a navy blue, thigh-length parka jacket with fur hood, black leggings, trainers and an over-the-shoulder tan handbag.
She was seen walking onto Viewlands Road, then Glasgow Road.
