Drugs worth over £23,000 recovered in Alloa police raid

Street drugs valued at more than £23,000 have been recovered following a police raid in Alloa.

Officers said heroin, amphetamine and cannabis was discovered after a search warrant was executed at a house in Torridon Court.

A local 36-year-old man and 33-year-old woman will appear at Alloa Sheriff Court in connection with the seizure.

Police Scotland said specialist and local officers carried out the raid at the property on Thursday.

Det Sgt Forbes Wilson said: "Drug dealing within communities will not be tolerated and as police, we will pursue offenders and bring them to justice."
