One of two inmates who absconded from Castle Huntly open prison last week has been traced.

Police Scotland said 23-year-old Kieran Kiely had been apprehended, but Daniel Hussain, 23, was still missing from the prison.

The two men were reported missing from the Perthshire open prison at about 16:20 on Wednesday and the public were warned not to approach them.

Hussain is understood to have connections to Perth and Glasgow.

He is described as 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with short dark hair.
