Police are appealing for information after vandals caused "significant" damage to a Dundee golf course.

Officers said turf at the Caird Park course had been ripped up by tyre tracks from a motorcycle or similar vehicle.

The incident happened between 18:00 on Tuesday and 08:15 on Wednesday.

Police said the tyre tracks led from the woods beside Old Glamis Road across the course and have asked anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
