Car crashes into Perth barber's shop

A man has been freed from a car after it crashed into a barber's shop in Perth.

Police and paramedics attended the scene of the collision at Archie's Barbers in County Place shortly before 15:30.

The grey Nissan vehicle collided with the left-hand side of the storefront, smashing the shop's window.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the man was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital.
