Arbroath bus station worker racially abused

Police are appealing for information after a bus station worker was racially abused and threatened.

A man who appeared to be under the influence of drink or drugs confronted the worker at Arbroath bus station at about 19:30 on Wednesday.

He got on a number 73 bus to Carnoustie immediately afterwards.

The man was described as being in his early 20s, about 5ft 8in tall with short, light-brown hair. He was wearing a white jacket.

Police Scotland urged anyone with information to contact Tayside Division on 101.
