Swansea driver killed in A483 road crash in Powys

A 35-year-old woman from Swansea has died after her car was in collision with a lorry in Powys.

It happened on the A483 near Llanbadarn Fynydd, close to Llandrindod Wells, at about 1130 BST on Monday.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the woman, who was driving a silver Ford Mondeo, died at the scene. The lorry driver was not injured.

The A483 between the villages of Dolfor and Crossgates was closed for eight hours.
