Two taken to hospital after house fire in Caerphilly

Two people were taken to hospital following a fire in a terraced house in Caerphilly.

Around 10 firefighters, four in breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze at Pantycelyn Drive on Wednesday after the alarm was raised at around 2000 BST.

It is not yet known how the fire, which was on the ground floor, started.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said two casualties were taken to hospital as a "precautionary measure".
